Interested in a career in galleries or museums?  View Arts Center offers a unique  opportunity to engage in all aspects of exhibition development – from concept through design and installation.  The Art Center includes four gallery spaces with exhibitions rotating every 8-10 weeks.  Responsibilities include: develop juried and invitational exhibition concepts;  liaise with artists and jurors; design and install shows (with volunteer support); and develop programs designed to deepen the visitor experience.  

Situated in the South-Central Adirondacks, View offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment in a 29,000 sf multidisciplinary art center.  Success in this position requires excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to work both collaboratively and independently, knowledge of gallery best practices, and a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.  Fulltime, excellent benefits.  Compensation based on qualifications and experience, $52,000 to $59,000.
